If that thing does sell it might be economically worth it to make fake "dud" tubes. Glue an engraved base on some factory rejects...

Certain Gravity probably caused the problem in the first place.

My favorite is NOS tube *BOXES* selling for $30. hey, I think it may have been the same seller...

Just what you need for your tube museum... sometimes I wonder if I'm actually building a tube museum...

The Eimac 6C21 I'm holding in my avatar picture has a shattered control grid (!!) and some guy wanted 5 EUR for it. I talked him down to 2 EUR and still felt I paid a lot 🙂
