Modified Tube Cricket Amp Questions

Hi All,

I'm looking for feedback on my merger of the tube cricket poweramp with valvecaster 2.0 style preamp. Basically, I added a second tube stage to the gain/drive section and removed the gain from the chip.

I've removed the gain control pot from the jrc386 in favor of a 10k ohm resistor to keep is as clean as the jrc will get while still having some volume since the tubes should be doing gain duty.

Thoughts on that?

Also, have I totally mucked this whole thing up?

I'm using 470k ohm into stage 1 of the second 12au7 for a higher gain/distortion from that tube. Do I have that backwards?

Thank you for your help in my first post.
