On February 18, 2020, we’re comparing, yes, DACs!
Listening tests are some of our most popular and requested meetings. In February we will pit a number of DAC devices head to head in a double-blind test using our new Audio by Van Alstine ABX comparator, which was kindly donated by Frank Van Alstine. We’re pretty excited to have this device and want to hear it in action.
We will have a number of DACs on hand for this evening’s testing, and encourage you to bring any interesting DACs you might have for inclusion in the test. Please also bring along any and all needed connectors, wires, and cords.
Join us at the Pavek Museum of Broadcasting in Saint Louis Park for an evening of in depth discussion and listening. Attendance is free for all, and light refreshments will be on hand. The presentation begins at 7:00 PM, and, as always, we thank you for arriving close to 7:00.
Oh, yes! A list of the music played during the January Bring and Brag will be posted soon.

On March 17, 2020, we are very fortunate to host the esteemed Ralph Karsten of Atma-Sphere music systems in Saint Paul.
This will be a very special evening with Mr. Karsten discussing OTL amplification and our listening to some music through these spectacular amplifiers. Not to be missed!
