Hallo, 😀
can someone recommend an SMD (SMT?) alternative to the MJE340/350 BJTs? Current is not an issue and colling will be done by board-mounting 😉 .
Thanks,
Sebastian.
PS: I'm going to develop an amp inspired by A.E. Holton's symmetrical MOSFET-Amplifier, so that's what they are intended for...

I've found the MJB44/45 on the ON-Semi pages. Is it suitable for use as drivers in Holton's symmetrical MOSFET-Amp? I'm sorry to ask so ignorant, but after all I'm not into transistors too much 😉 😉 😉
Thanks,
Sebastian.

Uhh, Ohh, okay!
On the page for the MJD340/350: "Electrically Similar to Popular MJE340 and MJE350"!!!
Okay, so thank's for your help anyway 😀
Or are there any concerns about the MJD surface mount types?
Especially: are they (for whatever reason) NOT suited as drivers in the amp?
If not, then fine - and a nice weekend for ya all 😀
So long,
