While I'm waiting to re-glue the baffles I'm taking a look at the xovers on these older Mission speakers. This is a total noob question, but am I right in thinking that the large blue item labelled 4.7K 250V on the HF driver side is a capacitor? What kind of cap would this likely to be?
Runnng the Cyrus 780s now the baffles are re-glued (marine epoxy because I'm gluing wood and polypropylene and it's vibration resistant/waterproof) Waiting for nice caps to arrive but I beaded the join between basket and magnet with epoxy putty. They sound pretty spectacular. Let's see how long the bass drivers last.
