Missing post?

I made two posts last night, a 'welcome' post and a question post. The welcome went through but the question didn't. Was there something wrong with it or?

Hi, and welcome to the forums. There are just two posts in your message history. This one you just made and your introductory. If you had another it would have either remained in the queue or some unusual glitch happened.

It has also been known that sometimes the Post button is forgotten. I believe I have done this a number of times.
