OK, I am new to this but I have an idea for a screen. Basically, you take a mirror and cover it in a semi-translucent plastic. (e.g., some grocery bags work, non-glare poly paper protectors from the office supply store work the best and give a professional even look). Now place the mirror in front the projector. This should give you a very, very bright (I am guessing the brightest image you can squeeze from a projector), but very, very directional image. I am thinking 5 (or more) full-length mirrors, each on its own pedestal (so they can be directed). Slightly curved at the top. The image should be bright enough to allow for cheaper, cooler, light sources, possibly LED. In fact, I built one of those “100” project off your TV screen things”, and I can see an image in a sun lit room. Has this been done before?
