Mirage M1si x-over mods anyone?

Has anyone opened these black beauties up and "hotroded" the internal wiring or x-overs. I heard from a dealer yesterday that Mirage used cheap wires and caps?? The problem will be to take them apart, so i dont want to do this more than once... Just a nice safe upgrade . thanks chuck

I did that on "Energy" loudspeaker (the one provided with Denon system). I found an improvement at the extreme end of the frequency range (30-200Hz and 10 000-15 000Hz). It is a funny project for a boring sunday afternoon 🙂
