midi to wav?

I can record stuff to midi files...ie piano recordings/synth for church choir. I would like to burn them to audio cd's so they can use them at home. How would I go about doing that. I have roxio ez cd creator 6 btw.

Midi is simply control codes - instructions like "select this synthesiser", "play this note for this long" etc, so cannot be directly converted. The midi file can play synthesisers (such as the internal ones in your PC sound card or external module), and the audio result of these can be recorded. If you have a basic sound recorder on your PC, make sure input is selected as midi player, play the midi file and click recorders record button. Should also be able to do this with Cakewalk if you have it.

there is a free sound editing program that can transfer MIDI files to WAV called Audacity that you might want to try.
