Hi everyone so I decided to mod my solo6c I ripped the old amp and transformer out to make them a passive pair then ive lined just the back,top.bottom with acoustic damping material this took a while to get the sound I liked because when I lined the whole unit the mids became unreal I found my solution is perfect for my sound tastes now my music sounds awesome through my smsl ta20201b amp.just wondering would the sound be even better if I change the electrolytic caps on the crossovers to film mpk caps ?.I have also got a nad c316bee intergrated amp coming Monday.bit scared as I paid a lot more for it than my t-amp without demo but could not resist as its ex display never used mint condition and a bargain here in the uk £160.anyone have this amp who could calm my nerves while I wait.
