MF Xpre - help pls!!

Hello,

I'm hoping you guys might be able to shed some light.

I have a standard Xpre that was going ok until I decided to upgrade the power supply and had accidentally reversed the polar at the power input. Now it still powers up but no sound (can hear faint music if I put my ear to the speaker).

Changed the valves - still no sound.
Don't see any burnt components.


Where I live there's no techie worth his salt. Last time I sent an amp to some monkeys who charge me a good deal for doing nothing to revive it. So I'd better ask here for some ideas/suggestions before I send it to someone I don't know.
