As much as it was a tragic event that ended well, while the nation was preoccupied with one baby, crack was taking over DC, genocide happening in Africa, and the roots terrorism on a global scale were festering. We need to be far more focused on the important things in the world, not some tear-jerk news show trying to make news about a small family's tragedy. While that was going on, DOZENS of children were shot on the streets in gang violence.

I recollect from the breaking news flash back then, that my first thought was how immensely stupid the parents of that child must be.
There should be a law that prohibits total idiots to have kids.
