Lets discuss music you get (Records,etc) where you saw a SONG TITLE and thought it was A DIFFERENT SONG and found it wasnt but THERE WAS ANOTHER SONG YOU DIDNT NOTICE ON THE LIST YOU LOVE!!!!
Ill start with 2!
The first was months ago I was @ a thrift store and I saw a record there with a song called "love will find a way" and when i saw that I THOUGHT IT WAS THE ONE I HAVE ALWAYS HEARD BY THE GROUP YES! (Then I didnt know who sung it and thought it was the album I bought which is Pablo Cruise: "Worlds away" 1978!!)
Well I LOVE THIS VERSION OF THE SONG ALSO!!!!! (I had forgotton about it 😀) -- In fact every song on this album is a winner!!
The second was the other day I found a STYX RECORD (cornerstone) with a song on it called "First time" and I THOUGHT IT WAS THE SONG "FEELS LIKE THE FIRST TIME" By foreigner (I have that album) but it isnt...... (I dunno why I forgot)
BUT THE SONG "BABE" IS ON THIS ALBUM!!!!!! (I didnt recognise it when i saw it on the list) Every song is a winner!!
What are your experiences??

I bought Ektos Programatos from Greece, wanted only one track, Tzivaeri, which I had heard live by Athena Andreadis but it isn't on any of her CDs.

A long time ago, in a far away land, I was given Ani Difranco's first (?) acoustic album by a woman who hated men. I think she might have given it to me to stab me with a curse or to prove that I was "just like them?"
There are lyrics like:
In each others shadows we grew less and less tall
and eventually our theories couldn't explain it all.
I'm recording our history now on the bedroom wall
and when we leave the landlord will come and paint over it all.....
I would have returned your greeting
if it weren't for the way you were looking at me.
This street is not a market
and I am not a commodity......
It grew on me so well I almost turned into a CD! I love it and it's been one of my favourite albums for getting on 20 years. No, I don't know all the words yet. :-/
