There's always eBay... Use the "save search" feature. You'll get an email when an item that matches your search term comes up for auction. It works pretty well if you can nail down the right search term.

You can also try searching the engineering library of a college/university in your area. You might not be able to check out the book, but at least you can page through it at the library and make copies of the relevant pages.
