I have basic electronics knowledge, however I *really* would like to accuartely measure some of my component's frequency response. Mainly my DJ mixer and my multipurpose mixer. Im not one to claim I can hear the differences between radio shack wire and kimber cable either. However there is a definate difference in high frequency sound between my DJ mixer and the Spirit Folio F1 multipurpose mixer I have. The multipurpose mixer is bright as balls compared to the DJ mixer. I have tried to crudely test it by using my real time analyzer, played with swept sine waves on a test CD, however its only good to 1 dB and I have no clue how accurate that RTA is anyway.
Is there any good software for a PC? How about stand alone equipment? Any recommendations on anything? Thanks.

I use a combination of scope/generator, software from Dazyweb Labs, and Speaker Workshop, depending on the frequency range, voltage level, and time budget.
