Guys I want to know how to measure the frequency response of a speaker and also how to design the box according to it??
Your help would be appreciated!!!!

the box only affects the frequency response at the low end.
The box is irrelevant once the frequency is double the driver resonant frequency.
The panel that any speaker is attached to, does affect reflection/diffraction.

If I want to design a sub woofer box I need to check the low frequency???Right??
So by which software I can design it????

Hi,
the easiest way is still BassCAD.
www.selfmadehifi.de
There is a link to a german/english download. This program helps you to design subwoofers in closed or bassreflex design.

No it does not !
If you'ld ever tried putting the same driver in different sized & types of enclosures, you'ld discover that ripples/reflections/cancellations etc etc would affect the response & sound in different ways.

Hi, thanx for reminding me of BassCAD 🙂 I have a much earlier version which i'd almost forgotten about ! It has a lot more going for it than some others software, & i recommend it 😉
69 dollars get you a USB powered measurement microphone.
Dayton Audio UMM-6 USB Measurement Microphone
Then a freeware program like REW or
HOLM Acoustics

Behringer do one too Behringer ECM8000 Measurement Microphone | 248-625
And the Dayton is only $48.26 on there 🙂
EDIT
I see the one above is not USB http://www.parts-express.com/cat/measurement-microphones/2057
