Nice beefy PS. 600W, 16.6A. Ridiculously loud stock fan replaced with a nice quiet Noctua 50mm. Great for TPA amps and hungry speakers. $75 shipped. Paypal.

How's the fan noise with the new fan? How often does it seem to run, I know that depends on load but I've heard various reports. Do you know what model fan that is?
Thank you

For this meanwell model the fan is always on, which is why I replaced it. I already have a Connex SMPS and was planning to compare but we are moving and now I am just selling off as much of my audio stash as I can.

The Noctua is a NF-A6x25 FLX 19db. About half of the stock Sunon, which was absolutely terrible. Sounded like a turbine. The Noctua is, as you'd expect from the brand, quiet, but depending on your setup you may want to tuck it away in an enclosure. But the fan being on is the tradeoff for meeting its high current spec at a decent price point.
