Ahhh... TY
Ok... Trying to figure out what switch that is...
Now it looks like it came with a gobal feedback switch, but I dont see one on my amp...

K1 is a relay. May be operated by the headphone/speaker switch to change the gain.

The drawing around the feedback network shows a relay coil, its safe to assume it a reed relay that also needs a transistor to drive
it. Thats likely on the pcb board.
Edit beat me too it.
Impressive Amplifier from a design-engineering point of view. As the amplifier is jam packed with functionality.

You guys rock..
off topic... Wish I had you guys looking over my shoulder while filling my cart at digikey... Every time I look for something folks say just get this, digikey says, nope.. out of a gazillion parts, we dont have what you want.
For example a 1k 50 watt resistor. only thing they had was in a TO220 ... I must be doing something wrong lol..

You'll also need mounting brackets, it gets real hot. Must be free air mounted at rated power.
L50J1K0E Ohmite | Mouser
Blocked
That TO-220 would work, but only with a big heat sink.

Ordered!
Are there any pictures of a mounting bracket?
Thank you.. for whatever reason I didn't think about mouser...

For anyone who finds this thread in the future, global feedback is painfully obvious in the 300B once you realize where it is! On the 8Ω terminal there are two wires. One from the OPT and a red wire going to the headphone jack. To forever disable, cut the red. Better to put it on a toggle...
feedback was deemed necessary due to the added gain stages, designer wanted different flavors...if you take out the global feedback, you can try 12au7..
And every amp needs a control plank.
Yea, the schematic is less than ideal.. additionally they didn't show the pcb and relays on the inputs...

Good to know, will have to dig in deeper as i am still learning.. are there any articles that you know of (newb friendly)?
