Whell I have found this while looking for TDA1541/S2

I contact Wang (elib@efuns.net ) and he say that thay are original...Maybe Peter Daniel can say something abouth them...I think that he order some from Wang...I don't know did he got them ollready...

Price for one is 75 USD + shiping and 68 USD for 10+ ,+shiping... and if the order is like 100 it goes down to 60USD...

I don't have ,at the moment, that money but I belive that here are some people that could be interested...

Maybe some one could do group order for them ?

check Mouser (www.mouser.com) they appear to have them for $31.

They don't offer the original Philips chip but a replacement chip from NTE. Until now I never heard of replacement chips for TDA type DAC chips so thank you for the tip ( nevertheless I think I'll stick with the original 😉 ) On paper the replacements look promising but not as promising as real S1/S2's.
