There isn't any reference on this forum (that I can find) to the MAX9722, so I figured I would share my latest mini project.
This is a headphone amp based on the MAX9722 DirectDrive IC powered by a TI TPS60130 inductorless charge pump. I opted to use the (B) suffix part which has the gain set internally to -2V/V. The circuit is DC coupled and I'm getting around 100mW of power into 17.5R earbuds before the amp goes into heavy clipping.

Nice. I've used a MAX232 chargepump to get +10-0-10 rails in a small motorcycle intercom prototype, but had to use 6 nimh cells with a LDO 5v regulator. This would've been such a space saving solution. Will take another look at it. ^_^
