Marshall Image Bank

Hello to those who had access to the Marshall Image Bank.

What happened to it?
I can't access it anymore (legitim user), I receive an error message:
"An error occurred during a connection to imagebank.marshallamps.org. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR"

Contacting Marshall resulted in a no answer.
I wrote several times but still no answer.

Any ideas what happened?

I had never heard of the Marshall Image Bank until now (I still don't know what it is), but I Googled, and found the web page. I got the same error you did.

That error usually means an expired security certificate. Whoever runs that Web server has to pay an Internet certificate authority for a currently valid security certificate, which is how you (the customer) knows that you are connecting to the genuine Marshall site, and not to some nasty hacker website trying to break into your computer or steal your information.

In this case, the person or persons running that web server has not renewed their security certificate after it expired. With an expired certificate, there is no way to verify the authenticity of the website. Your Web browser is trying to protect you by refusing to connect.

I hate to say it, but from the expired certificate, and lack of replies to your emails, it sounds as though Marshall no longer cares. Is the Image Bank an older software product?

The Marshall Image Bank is a site where licensed technicians can download he schematics for all, except the newest, Marshall products.
It's been in use for many years and a real gold mine for technical info.
As more and more amps of a younger age come in for repair, it's hard to get them back up and running without a schematic.
Is Marshall still Marshall or owned by some Far East investor?
Who knows...
