I bought a Marchand XM-44-4 Kit last week and have had some time during lunch break (OK I cheated a little, sorry boss) to finish building the kit at work. I must compliment Phil Marchand on a very well done job of PCB layout and part selection, the documentation and directions could have been a little better but it wasn’t too much trouble since I do this kind of thing at work all the time and have a good setup. Anyway, I will hook it up this weekend for some testing and get an idea of what different frequency/slope modules I want to try. Should be a lot of fun experimenting though.
Here is the finished product, if it’s as good as my existing XM-9-3 crossover then it should be very transparent, this should complete all my crossover needs for sometime (7-total channels between the two).
