Hello to all.I picked up a replacement 50K dual gang volume pot for my marantz 2325 reciever. The replacement is your typical pot with 2 sets of 3 legs on the bottom. The original one has a 4th leg that wraps around the top & is soldered on to the pot at the 11 oclock position on both pots. I looked at the bottom of the circurt board & it sure looks like the 4th leg is an active circurt. My question to you is do I ignore the 4 leg? Tie it into one of the other legs by using a jumper lead? Any help would be appreciated. thanks, tom south florida.
Could it also be for the balance control, if this is integral with the volume, as in the Pioneer A400?
