I am looking for a little help/reassurance. My CD10 has very badly worn and stretched belts so I have managed to buy a belt set off ebay from a supplier in the Netherlands. Anyway I now need to fit these belts. I do not want to have to remove the CD motion from the player so two questions really.
Question one can the belts be replaced without removing the reader
Question two is this an easy enough job ?
I looks, to me at least, that the only real issue is having to remove the pulley cable to get the main belts on ... is this an issue? I would be most grateful for any advice as to how to go about the job. I do not want to mess up the player I have had it from new and it has been very little used so in nearly every other respect it is immaculate it would be a shame to damage the player by doing something that is avoidable ! As I say any help would be most appreciated.
