hello, i have a cd17mIII or KI, when switch the power on, a heavy click is produced on the 2 analog outputs, i suppose that the mute function is the source of this problem.. i try to enter in service mode, but not possibel...if someone have a solution for me....

Mute function can be the problem, but does not have to be the only problem.
To chart the situation:
a) have you obtained it in this state or did it develop the malfunction?
b) after the power on click does it work ok?
c) what are your soldering skills and do you have a scope?
d) could you post some photos of the internals - especially the analogue output stage?
