Hi all. New to the site. My name is David and I've been into car audio for around 32 yrs now. Not in a professional sense, mostly hobby.
Anyway, i'm trying to find some wiring info on a Sanyo 50 watt PA6050. And a Pioneer EQ-5000. I came across both of these today while I was plundering through a large walk about flea market.Well, if anyone has any info on these and would share, I would be greatly appreciative!! I'll try to leave a couple pics of the finds I made today! Have a great weekend all!

Welcome David!
The Sanyo is from the early to mid 1980's. STK chip-based amp, came with a little outboard heat shrinked "protection circuit" that caused nothing but trouble. Most people opted not to use it. Straightforward 2 channel installation, not bridgeable, 500mV or so input required to get to full power, and no input level adjustment IIRC. 25WPC is accurate, and was a good value for the price in its day. I used a few PA6100's back then down here in South GA.
The EQ is a newer model and not familiar.

Where I live, the PA6100 was the first car amp that was beyond the EQ boosters. On a pair of 6x9s, it was impressive. Soon after, the Rockford amps became available here so they took over the top spot but that 6100 still sounded really good for top end.

I think the the 50w may have had a discrete final stage (not STK) but I could be wrong.

We only sold those tall 6100's, you may well be right about the little 50W being discrete. I worked with a guy subsequently who had a 6050 in his car, and was thinking we opened it up. But that sure wasn't yesterday.
Did you ever use the 4 channel 6110? I think I still have the motorized fader out of one somewhere around here.
