Dont worry. The midrange goes to 9kHz so it's basically a fullrange with supertweeter and bass extension 🙂

Then again, he's the first man to produce a reasonably compact OB design of the kind of quality the Orion and Phoenix provides. And this looks very close to the Orion. Very close indeed... (I think I'll leave it there!)
Still, nice to see a big company trying something other than the usual vented box isn't it. I bet the price is astronomical.

agreed
one problem with ob is that it does amazing things to midrange clarity, but does not work very well for deep bass
even Linkwitz suggests to use subwoofer with Orion
unless the baffle is realy realy big
the solution is closed or vented box for woofer and rest is ob
that's the way to do it!

True enough. I'm using a a pair of bipolar open baffle subs with the long throw drivers mounted in push-push configuration with my prototype OBs at the moment. These are flat to 15Hz, but not exactly the easiest solution, and probably unnessesary. I'd go with Linkwitz Thor for a simple DIY option in future.
