main DIY page not showing last N threads, only forum list

When I first log in to DIYaudio everything looks the way it has in the past. Once I click on a topic and then click on the DiyAudio image at the top left of the page to go back to the main overview page I instead get the forum list. No matter what I do, I cannot get the main page (that lists the forums along the left side and in the middle are the last N thread titles) to show up.

Was the URL target associated with the DiyAudio image changed?

So, I logged out, pointed my browser to diyaudio.com, and the main page loaded up just fine. Then I clicked on the DiyAudio logo image and was taken to the form list page.

When I hover I can see that the URL for the logo is now:
http://www.diyaudio.com/index.php
But when you click on that it takes you to:
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/

There does not seem to be a way to access the main page except to type in diyaudio.com in the URL input field in my browser...

Yes same here Charlie, click on the home link in the top left of the menu bar. It works like the logo used to.

OK, got it. Clicking on HOME does work.

Why was the logo link changed? I kind of liked it the "old" way, but maybe that was because I was used to it working that way...

Jason changed the optimization engine this morning, I suspect it is related to that, and probably unintended. There are a few issues he is working through, as this one is more of an annoyance it is probably lower on the priority scale 🙂

Mines now working. Jason fixed it about three hours before my post above but I was still having the issue until about an hour ago (on my laptop). Then it just started working. My phone still has the issue though. Looks like it is some weird caching problem. Try a different browser, that's what I did on my laptop, and it worked, when I went back to my normal browser that worked too. Odd.

Sometimes you have to manually clear the browser cache to fix these sorts of issues.

This is now working for me again. When I click on the DiyAudio pic at top left I get the usual thread list.

This is fixed now.

If anyone still has the problem then clearing local storage in the browser seems to fix the issue. I was still having problems with chrome on my phone and clearing history and files fixed it.
