Mac LCD Panel

Heres one I've been struggling with for ages.

I've got a completely stuffed iMac G4 (flat panel) thats the one that looks like an upside down pudding bowl.

The screen and power supply are still good, how ever the mainboard is fried, what I want to do is just put a standard vga (db15) screen plug on it, so I can use the screen on my computer for a second monitor.

any one have any ideas on how to go about figuing out what each wire from the lcd does?

I cant find any info so far, apple are rather hard to get schematics from. I figure its just a standard monitor, only it has strange plug on it.

CHeers,

Matt
