So, this is a nice little amp indeed. One chan has a couple of blow output transistors. This is the old sanken 2sa1106/2sc2582, problem here is that it takes 4 of each. Finding 4 good matched of these is expensive and quite challenging, since this amp been "serviced" some time before it has a of total 6 fully functional, but mismatched and widely spread hfe.... not optimal.
Now to my question, i do have a set of 8 matched 2sa1492/2sc3856 (four of each). I would not say my knowledge about finding alternative components is that well. what i can readout from the sheets these would work (?) Slightly higher tolerances but pretty much the same otherwise, or do i miss something fatal here?
Pinpoint to learing this procedure perhaps? Maybe there is a thread i missed explaing this?
