rails +/-23-ish
Iq 1A7-ish
output DC Offset negligible
LU1014 Uds set to 2V4
BFR (Beauty Factor Resistor) 22R, so OLG max.
thinking to make MC pre of this one
result, Pinpoint Machine - dominant 3rd
set of graphs for 8R Load:

OK, THD levels are ridicolous
But, as intention wasn't dominant 3rd, finally to use BFR position for Sugar Level Tweaking
BFR changed to 270R (OLG goes down, amount of NFB goes down, degree of symmetry between phases (LTP) goes down)

so, to repeat:
rails +/-23-ish
Iq 1A7-ish
output DC Offset negligible
LU1014 Uds set to 2V4
BFR (Beauty Factor Resistor) 270R
result - Pinpoint Sugar Machine, dominant 2nd, THD Levels still ridiculously low

I've just learned that with new board software, now we can edit attachments in opening post
🙂

as Pa use to say - mine is to make them not to choose between them
but let me try ......... comparing to LuDEF .......... more of everything ........ even if little less spicy
now, imagine seeing Sophia and Marcello together on the screen ......... that level of easiness, no caring about the sound, just music
me, being modest as always***
***all me amps are like that, lucky copycat
aha, almost forgot - I did forgot to post Trade threads for latest amps, will do that in few days
3 of them, already !?!
SissySIT P, Ludef P, Plethora of Pinjatas ........

oh boy. This time I would like a cheap and easy amp as Lu were cheap to get. See if I can find some good solution surplus/ heatsinks for it or repurpose my existing ACA chassis.
send me an e-mail to >zenmodiyaudio@google.com<
everything is completed, ZM just being lazy with Trade threads
much more fun investing time in making new ones, than selling old ones

Perhaps a silly question, but as I'm still halfway through mu luDEF build...
Can a luDEF be converted to a LuDEF-P? Would I want to?
thanks

difference is just in FE
non-P is having autoformer FE, while P is having active FE
as everything exists and almost anything can be converted in something else, LuDEF can be converted to LuDEF P and vice-versa
though, easiest way for doing that is just taking proper set of pcbs and associated parts from drawer
just compare schms in post #1 here and post #1 here: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/ludef.369990/

Hi Zen Mod.
I bought the full kit and have just started populating the PCB. I am confused about the 100 ohm.
I received 22 pcs and that is according to the packing list but when count them in the schematic it appears to be 17 for one PCB, so 34 in total.
Is the packing list faulty or am I missing something?
