The latest update to LTSpice seems to have a bad bug. Every time it saves a file, it replaces the coils with some transformer not connected. More if I figure out what is going on.

It changes the symbol and it is not lined up. Shows an iron core. No idea what it does to the model.
I'm using 4.20h, Dec 20 2013 version.
I'm not seeing any troubles saving coils (inductors).

Old schematics. Used the "default" coil and only had a value set. I think they may have changed the default. Now I need to go look up to see which of their coils is an air-core.
Selected a coilcraft with high Ipk (12A) , low ESR. Guess it is an air. Pops back into circuit, so it seems they changed the default. As their intended use is for switching supply designs, it makes sense their default would be iron core.
It CHANGED the darn coil every time it opens. This seems to be a BUG. I will head over to Linear Tech.

Got an answer from LT team. Poof. fast.
Somehow I would up with an extra symbol in the top directory it was using rather than the one in the symbol directory. Killed it and all is well. I have no idea where it came from.
