In the past few weeks, I experimented with different linear power supply for NAS.
The Synology NAS DS213J, used with Audio Station software, feeds digital stream to a DAC directly. When I replaced the factory supplied power supply by a LT1084 power supply, the sound improves a lot. Here is a PCB layout I finally arrived at. I am a newbie in PCB layout. See if there is anything that need amendment or modification. Please feel free to make comments.
