lsk170c JFET or equivalent

Any one know were i could get some LSK170c or equivalent JFET. I have searched the internet and cannot find anything.
the basics i need are N channel 1V to 2V VGS and 10mA to 20mA IDSS.
the Jfets are going in variable (for experimental purposes) CCS device to bias an OPamp in to class A
in this case would a Jfet with a negative VGS work?

LSK170 is a second source of 2SK170 (made by Toshiba but discontinued). For 10 ~ 20 mA, you need V rank, which is still available here and there. If this is for experiments, why don't you design a simple BJT based CCS, where you can have more freedom on the current setting?

you cant parallel a few lower IDSS parts? 2sk170BL are still pretty widely available including in the for sale and group buy section here in the forum, its only the P channel thats really hard to find legit. you can also find some 2sk369V around the place

If I was to use the BF862 what would the best way to mount it on a prototype strip board?

BF862 -- surface mount -- from NXP --

The NXP Data Sheet doesn't say anything about noise performance in the audio range - only at 100 KHz. Is there a manufacturer who DOES spec this parameter? Or, are there at least some sample measurements that verify low noise at lower frequencies?

It´s the 2SJ74 which becomes hard to get. The 2SK170 is still available from major
