Lowther PM6C voice coil contamination

those metallic particles are most likely nothing else but shavings of Hi-ferric paint they use in the voice coil gap...i hate that
take it apart, use sticky tape to clean the gap, put it back, center it, use it for awhile, observe the same problem, repeat...till you get fed up and get rid of Lowthers

(there is perhaps youtube how to do it)

I guess I remember the manual saying something about the strength of the magnet and to avoid close metallic parts. How did this happen? :scratch1:
The speakers (DIY Lowther TP1's) were in storage for years. It must have happened there.

I'm going to give it a try and see if I can fix them. They can always go to Lowther UK for repair if it doesn't work.
I still need some speakers to fill my TP1's, do you have any suggestions?
