I would like to A/B compare a 600 ohm LCR RIAA with a low RC RIAA network. I can't get down to 600ohm RC because the cap values get way too large and I don't like spending $ on expense caps in parallel with the signal so I choose a 1k R1 for the RC, low enough to sim.
I currently use a 75k R1 resistor and I think a 1k is close enough to sim a low RC network.
Has anyone tried a very low RC RIAA? Do those large cap values destroy the sound?
I have attached a scaled down LTSpice version that I think will work fine.
My first stage can drive the 600 load with ease.
