Interesting!
Went to the website, noticed that the price is in Yen?(translated from simple chinese to english)
Can you verify? Thanks.

Great! Thanks for the link.
The kit certainly looks good and you accept payment via PayPal.. will place order soon. 😀

Instreasting, I want to know is this good for audio DIY? I'm from Hong Kong, can I buy it from Guangzhou dealer?
The scope bandwidth is more than enough for audio signals. It can be purchased by sending us email. Shipping to Hongkong from where we are is £¤30 (RMB) for the first 1kg and £¤10 for every 1kg extra.

found it here for 33.00USD, and only 3.68 shipping! 🙂
I don't know how to use one, but I ordered it anyway! lol

Good for you mindcrime!
Please update us when you're done building it. I am planning to buy it too....
But how come seedstudio's price is cheaper than jyetech?

It seems the one I bought does not come with the power supply, that must be how they keep the shipping cost down. I have plenty of those floating around, so thats ok with me🙂
o-scope
ray
looks like a good little on the road piece- build it into an old plastic case and with a multimeter life is good to go.
two questions- is the$12 screen a direct replacement- ie just plug it into a molex and you are up and going?
can you give me the price of the complete o-scope and extra screen shipped to 04103 and what the wait would be.
Boys want their toys now!
thanks for bringing this to our attention

I bought mine from NKCelectronics in the US. You save on shipping. I bought the finished scope. Seems a lot of work to solder those SMD components. Already used it to troubleshoot the I2S output of a CDROM
Rob, the LCD module is the same as the one used in the o-scope. It may take 3 - 4 days to arrive USA if sent from our city. Courier is DHL. Shipping cost is US$23 for 0.5kg. You may like to buy from NKC to save money and time.
I just got my hands on one of those and I have to say, it is quite fun to play with. It isn't blasingly fast, the frames per second aren't spectacular, but it does everything it says and does it fairly ok.
Learn how to use it, using the test signal that is built in and going trough the manual, it's fairly simple to grasp.
The frequency counting mode also works great, it counts the 500hz test signal correctly and even manages to properly count the 50hz hum induced trough the power I'm giving it(lousy 9V wall-wart). And that's a very, very low-level hum, a lot under 0.1v, which is the minimum V/div in the meter. I'll try it on a 9V battery at some point to see what it detects there.
For fun, grab the probes and look at your own waveform.
Cool device, now to find something useful to use it for!

This oscilloscope has been upgraded with new firmware. Performance was enhanced and new features were added. These include:
* Higher real-time sampling rate - 5Msps (5Msps works in AUTO mode only)
* Significant faster display refresh rate
* External trig is now available
* Save up to 6 captures to EEPROM and retain after power down
* Retrieve and display saved captures
* Transfer its screen to PC as bitmap file via serial connection
Documents for usage of external trig and troubleshooting were also provided. Please go to http://www.jyetech.com/en/default.html for details.

searched to see if anyone here got their hands on one of these toys. I've had mine for more than one year now and have to say that for the price it's great. for most day to day usage of a non-professional its invaluable. and yes, it does everything the package says. recommended 🙂
Do you have the updated one mentioned by ray0812? The video I had seen of this unit made the screen refresh look painfully slow, and I had stayed away for that reason. Is it easy to see the waveform slide around on the screen in real time?
