I did until now some measurements on fullrange loudspeakers with applied aluminium foil.
Frequency response and waterfall measurements to be found in the thread " How to make a loudspeaker sandwich cone".
I would be glad for a second opinion / measurement check including THD and IMD measurement before and after applying the sandwich foils.
For this I offer to any interested person to do this tweak on a single or pair of drivers of choice.
This person should pay for postage, the work and material will be offered for free by me.
As I am in Europe (germany) at the moment postage for sending drivers will be cheaper staying inside Europe.
But I accept certainly parcels from anywhere else like America.
So feel free to contact me if there is serious interest and a measurement system at hand.

Have you considered @HiFiCompass ?
Yevgeniy is already setup for measurements, and has a low noise, low distortion, high SPL microphone setup (200V externally powered true condenser mic)
A potential target could be pro-sound drivers with neo motors (low weight, reducing shipping costs), high β
(BL^2 / Re) (more motor strength), as well as re-cone kits (ie. designed withmodding serviceability in mind). Some also have FEA optimized suspensions and motors, including "shorting copper cap" or other demodulation devices.
Besides, they are all pulp/paper based cones, which means the aluminum sandwich modifications have most potential to smoothen the frequency response and/or reduce resonances and distortions.

If he’s not available i can ship you eg. A pair of B&C 8NW51
I have B&K measurement setup, but am slightly further away (Australia)

@tktran303
thank you for your replies.
We can use the b and c but I prefer fullrange drivers just to show alu tweak is effective at all frequencies.
If thats ok for you it would be nice.
If you have a preference for a certain fullrange just tell me

good choice.
you want a single driver modded or a pair?
For measurements only one would be enough. If you want to listen to them, then stereo.
I could send you a pair (you refund me the price or you order them for me).
Theoretically only the same driver(s) should be measured before and after but this is in my eyes not necessary as production today puts out good series consistence.
So I send you modded part(s) and you measure originals at home for comparison.
Glad to hear what it does subjectively and certainly objectively looking at the measurements.
Two options:
aluminizing whizzer and cone with thin quality from the goldsmith or
cone with household alu foil what has more stability but adds a bit weight. And whizzer with thin quality.
