Hi. I recently made a mistake and blew up the MX1 poweramp from Yamaha. The electrolyte from the capacitor has leaked. The specs for the caps are as follows :
Make Nichicon both
02 Nos 33000 uF 50WV 85C (working volt)
02 Nos 36000 uF 40WV 85 C
The dimension for all caps are dia 50mm Length 70 mm. (there is no more place for caps with length of 70 mm)
I found for the 33000 uF the part from Nichicon is LNR1H333MSE . However I have not been able to find a suitable replacement for the 40V 36000uF.
Nichicon doesnt make 40V caps any more (only 35 volts available from them). Another problem is that 50mm diameter caps are longer than 70mm and the chassis cant hold it.
I have already reached Nichicon, however not yet received suitable reply. They have asked me for pictures and other details. I would really appreciate if anyone can help me.
If you want, I can post the pictures.

Do you mean that I can replace 36000uF/40V with 33000uF/50V? 🙂As electrolytic capacitors have a wide tolerance, I would think the 33000 will do nicely.
