Looking for JVC xl-v141 CDP service manual or schematic

Hi Dan.

Have you checked how close the schematic is to, say, XL-V151?
Service manual for this player seems to be available for free at JVC XL-V151 Manual - Stereo Compact Disc Player - HiFi Engine

I do not know whether it is even close, not knowing which dac etc your player has, but it does not hurt to check.. 🙂

Could you please check which DAC XL-V141 has?

I think XL-V241(or V242?) is the "better" model of XL-V141, but I could not find service manual for this model either..

Looks like a JVC JCE 4501...

To me it seems the board is the same one as in XL-V151, look at service manual pg.35, it shows the board from solder side.. I really think they do have same circuitry on the main board..

Btw, what for do you need the schematic of your player?

Just took closer look into XL-V151 service manual just to find out that on pg.44 is a drawing of the "component side" of the main board, which looks quite like the one on your picture.

It may well be... Only using a 7" tablet ATM.. . I'll print it out a bit later.
Reason? A few caps are a bit swollen, and a few components look like they'd been replaced in the past, judging by the solder side of the board. It works, but I wanted to see what the original values and part numbers were before proceeding.
