Hello, I am super new to all of this and i have a few speaker sets lying around i have collected over the years. I will list them and then explain my goal.
Im currently looking at regulating switching power supplies around 800watts so i can use the car amplifier for the subwoofer. i belive the car amplifier is only 2 channels though and i have 13 speakers to power. the 12 speakers from the CS-88A's sit at around 440watts if i did my math correctly. If i can i would like to just get a seperate amp for the CS-88a's, preferably a home audio amp. If that is what i do then i am unsure of how to route from my audio source, to both amps at once.
My other option would be to just buy a new home audio amp that can power all 3 speakers. I am unsure of what to get in this regard. Any help is much appreciated.
Also, should i get a new enclosure for my lone, 12in subwoofer? its in a rectangular ported box currently.
- 2 CS-88A speakers. (i am eventually planning to just replace all the speakers in them but for now just the 2in drivers)
- 1 12 in subwoofer in car box. infinity brand. I am not sure of the specifications.
- 1 1000w autotek car amplifier.
