Looking for good, ultra fast bridge rectifier

It's for a PASS preamp with 2SK170 (only one per channel), so it should draw very little current. 25 volts should be fine.

Hi there,

I have a PCB with integrated PSU (except the tranny), and there is a place to put a bridge rectifier (+ / AC / AC/ -), but a want something good (such at shottky, or UF4007 to name single diodes). Any idea?

thanks,
Dan
Ultra fast can make switching noise due to ultra-hard reverse recovery spike, I suggest go for standard silicon rectifier or soft-recovery types if this is mains frequency. Schottky may need heatsinking to avoid reverse leakage thermal runaway, they are not typically a good choice for high power rectification at low frequency as a consequence - they are used in switching supplies because they have to be, and will be heatsinked to keep them from getting hot and going run-away...
