greetings, i'm looking to have a couple of small sealed subwoofer cabinets built... if you know of anyone in the Portland, Oregon area, i'd really appreciate the reference.
Thanks!

just about any car audio shop should be able to help. Prices will very because they just make them up depending on how they feel that day. Other than that... are you looking for something specific?

Yes, a car-stereo shop does indeed have the carpentry skills & tools to build you a cabinet according to your exacting specifications. Do all your calculations & designing first. Don't let them try to advise you on your design, stick to your guns. Car stereo outfits are for car-stereos, not home applications, two different animals.
Tell them your exact internal dimensions & just have them do the woodworking. Perhaps you could supply them with the driver/s so they can get the sizing exact.......& your supplied terminal plate. If possible, have them use at least one inch thick material (MDF likely)....thicker would of course be better. Don't get suckered into their "custom" build material.
Do your homework first....they are just there to build you a 'box'.

thanks Rick and Tundra... I hadn't thought about car audio shops (primarily for the reasons rick mentioned). this is going to be a very simple project - two small sealed enclosures with internal bracing. since they are not going to be visible, the finish doesn't even need to be first rate.
i appreciate the suggestion (and map, tundra).
