I know that 960 x 234 is not a good res. but for a super small screen like this this is awesome well not for huge projections but I bet you could build a box for it for the size of a shoe box and have a "decent" projector(60" screen size) for under $150.Small 2.5" Screen
Dont criticize me i'm not going to buy it but just say what you think.

DUDE!
That would be a neat project - and it MIGHT work (for a smaller screen) BUT it would make for a real small case 😛

Hey im tempted, but the only spec it dont have is its responce times. I think it would run well with a cdm-t bulb behind that run at 60inches.

Response time
I dont think the response time would be that bad i mean it is tft not stn but small screens probably do have a slow response time . I bet you could give it a shot. I mean if you are only looking for a TV that's bigger than your standard one. It wouldn't be good for "home theater" but hey it would make a good 60" TV.
7" car TV LCD sell for more and they are stn and less or same pixels i think it would be a good deal.

most likely that 960x240 screen is only 320x240. They like to count the sub-pixels so that the screen sounds like a higher resolution. Basically they count each horizontal Red,Green, and Blue pixel.

Ya it is, as with most cases they count the rgb lines rather then the pixels, thats how they burn people, its still a high reso for such a small lcd though, double of what they normally are.
