If i build a amp with lm3886 chip......how close this would sound to GC? Would it be a big difference?
I would bulid GC but in Estonia they don't sell LM3875.

you might want to consider using the national samples program to help you aqquire some of the lm3875t(f) in your country.
The 3886 is in the same series as the 1875 & 3875. It is the largest in the series and uses the same voltages as the 3875, but is listed at 75% higher current. Its been said that it will handle 4 Ohm loads better, but there have been few comparisons on the actual sound in the same circuits. Most people seem to agree that the quality is similar but may sound slightly different. That said the only way to find out is to build 1 with each chip & not many people have that sort of time / resources.
PS the 3886 is also used in some very expensive commercial amps.

I am in the process of building a multi-channel amp using 3875, 3886 and 541 to just see how they work (and if I can hear that lovely "resistor sound", 🙂).
I have built LM3886 stereo amp. I think the sound is good. See hepso.dna.fi/misc/ukram_data.html and then "LM3886 stereo amplifier" for circuit board and schematics.
