Is this the same concept as to why ‘corner deflectors’ and small shapes inside subwoofer qw pipes (and fold dimensions) do ‘nothing’ helpful to the long 1/4 and halfwave lengths, etc?

Mix 1 part borax powder with 3 parts sugar and dissolve in water and offer this liquid to the ants, and their bellies start swelling up and bursting.
Put a long piece of cheese or chocolate in your microwave for 30-45 seconds and observe the uncooked /melted nodes forming withinn that 12cm wavelegth?
