I tried it.
Very basic and very user unfriendly.
But what can you expect for free.
Designspark is by Number One Systems who do EasyPC.
Looks like a very old version of easypc.

True - It is a very basic program, but for simple tube circuits it works fine.
I can see where it would be a pain with more elaborate circuits...

You will probably have to contact a SolidWorks VAR to get some sort of trial licence, unless you are a potential purchaser (ie a company) you may not get far though, that said it may be easier in the USA than the UK. With all the top brand CAD packages it is almost impossible to get a trial licence, unless you are a firm doing a proper evaluation trial. Unless you are a student, then you may be able to get a student licence.
