LINN KLOUT replacement LED and the last of the performance mods

does anyone know a suitable replacement LED for a KLOUT front panel (actually on the main boards)? from Farnell, RS, Mouser etc.
I have one not working, but as I'm starting to recap all my KLOUTs I don't know yet if this could be caused by some dodgy capacitors or the actual LED itself.

Has anyone done the last of the KLOUT performance and reliability mods, described in the Product upgrade history as "Capacitor added to Transformer connector on main board to improve the Klout's immunity to electromagnetic emissions. This improved the sound quality. Jul 1998. From s/nr 5179".
Do you have specific details of the component to be used (and examples of actual ones used?) and how / where to fit it?
If I'm going through with full recap's I would want to do this at the same time on all, because I think all my KLOUTs are earlier than that serial nr.

I will also look to add Mica shims to those that don't have them if they're lower than this serial nr: "Shim mod (Mica washers) fitted as standard between power transistors on main board and coupling block. Sound improvement mod. Nov 1994. From s/nr. 2700 approx."

Many thanks in advance!
Steve

check out schematics of three Linn power amp models - created from me by post #51 under
tweaking classic Linn LK1 & LK2 / LK280
and associated service hints (mentioned in the pdf files) which I have find out and tested.
Most important thing for sound improvement is the additional use of electrolytic caps behind the voltage regulators. This caps are in use at the models LK-2 and LK2-80 but unfortunately not at this model.
Linn's Service Manual is here:

Concerning the asked power LED I don't recall, what is very special (perhaps the outline resp. the sizes?). Maybe you can upload an image.
