This company has an LCOS display that can do 1920 by 1200 plus an LVDS controller to use with this display . Could someone comment ?

lcos is very expensive, but promising. if you guys could actually get ahold of one, you may be able to make it work, but it will still be in the few thousands to make one that was just semi watchable.

LCOS is "cheap", but...
monochrome.
You need a color wheel like a DLP.
LCOS need "only" 2 million pixel, a normal 1920-lcd has ~6 million pixels (RGB).
