LCD 5.6 Vs Projecter Panel

Hello,
I want to make an LCD video projector. I have two alternative plans in my mind.

1) Using a good quality small LCD screen, say 5.6" and make a projector similar to slide projector using the LCD screen as a slide.

2) Using a projection panel with OHP.

Which one produces better quality output?

While I could gather ample information about the second one on this board, I am still not sure about the first one.

First one looks cool to me because the projector will be smaller. But I don't know whether small size LCDs can be stripped easiliy? Has anyone tried that? If I use 5.6" LCD, do I have to use a projection lens with an exact dia of 5.6"?

You wont be able to get a good small lcd for cheap at all. The best solution is an LCD monitor, but out of the two you chose..I would do some research.
